Dr. David B. Browand

After completing his pre-chiropratic studies in the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, biology, along with physiology and anatomy courses, Dr. Browand was accepted at Life College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia. During his time at Life, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy, nutrition, human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Life College Public Clinic.

Dr. Browand is married to Kelly and has four children, Olivia (16), Connor (12), Jack (9), and Riley (7). Dr. Browand and his wife stay very busy with their kids in Scouts and sports. They also are very involved in their church and in the community.

After practicing for almost 14 years, it became very apparent to Dr. Browand that this country is having a major health crisis. Not only in the cost of health care but in all aspects of our lives such as what we are eating, how we are spending our time, and how much stress we put upon ourselves. This is why Dr. Browand is on a mission to help us take back our health, time and gain peace. He is doing this by reaching out to the community to promote a healthier lifestyle. It is easier to stay healthy than to get healthy. Dr. Browand is setting a goal to give 52 health talks this year in his community.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Highland residents - Chiropractor Highland Dr. David Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Highland chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
